About the production
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Breathtaking acrobatic stunts, impressive dance performances, live music of paradise that will touch your heart, and a gripping story of love so intense that it will upset the earthly and heavenly order. For this project, Losers Cirque Company joined forces with the renowned 420PEOPLE dance company and the Maranatha Gospel Choir to create an original acrobatic musical. The show premiered on May 30, 2022 in the Gothic gardens of the Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia managed by the National Gallery Prague. It was originally intended to be a summer-only project, but due to great audience popularity it was reworked for the traditional theatre stage and was added to the BRAVO! Theatre repertoire.
THE STORY:
Guardian angels have a tough job. Every day they are given a mortal to protect from harm by small or large interventions. Who assigns mortals to angels, only God knows. For one angel, the rigid rules of heaven are too tight. She’s annoyed as hell with a system that doesn’t allow her to actually help people, but only to put out their trivial problems. After she falls in love with an “ordinary man”, she is ready to spark a revolution in heaven.
Leading part of Chief of Heavens is played by Jiří Korn, alternated by Petr Jeništa.
